Training Center Ready to Go

Just as the construction work on the new training center was completed, there was a big surprise. The original plan was to simply to add the UgandaKids logo onto the building. But just then, Christopher Encima was in Adjumani. Some years ago, he was employed at the school as an art teacher. He then went on to study at an art academy in Entebbe. He has since graduated and now works as a freelance artist throughout East Africa and the Middle East. He felt the wall was too bare and spontaneously decided to brighten it up. In his words: “I had a wonderful time at UgandaKids, and now I can give something back.” Thank you so much, Christopher!
The registration of the trainees is complete. We are just waiting for some official documents from Kampala, and then we can finally get started!
